On the evening of Wednesday 18/1/2023, after being formally invited, the director of Bahar Factory took part in the event introducing businesspeople and owners of companies and factories of Sulaymaniyah and Halabja to their American counterparts, at the Rotana Hotel, attended by the US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.
First Dr Haval Abubakr, governor of Sulaymaniyah, welcomed the consul and guests and hoped the event would be productive. At the event Irvin Hicks Jr, Consul General of the United States, shed light on trade relations and the important opportunities for both sides, and said he was happy that Sulaymaniyah is the starting point of his meetings. He said strengthening the trade sector and linking the Kurdistan Region with the United States in trade, industry and agriculture is among his priorities.
On the sidelines of the event the director of Bahar Factory discussed with the Consul General, one to one, the importance of complementary and alternative medicine, especially medicinal plants.
