On Tuesday 23/12/2025 at Bahar Factory, in the Wistkar project in Sulaymaniyah, we welcomed the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting left us with a strong feeling that the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministry of Labour care about factories and agricultural and food projects. The minister, Kwestan Mohammed, and those with her from the ministry’s offices in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah stressed the government’s support for small and medium projects through long-term loans with no interest and no guarantor, which increases owners’ trust in the government and the banking sector.
As director and staff we also thanked the staff of the Reviving (Gashanawa) project, who for over a year have continued to support us with loans and special finance and marketing courses.
We hope this financial and moral support continues for factories so that we can meet local demand and think about exporting our products outside Kurdistan, strengthening the Kurdistan economy, buying more of farmers’ local produce and employing more young people.
